The router simulation in the tutorial enables individuals to move around a router interface and get a sense for moving across hardware devices. It differs from the actual exam in that detailed router functionality has been disabled. In contrast, router simulations in Cisco proctored exams will accept partial responses that an actual Cisco router will understand. For example: "Show Config' or 'Sho Config' or 'Sh Conf' would be acceptable. 'Router #show ip protocol' or 'router # show ip prot' would be acceptable. The exam commands must include the correct spacing, spelling and marks (#@!?).
